The Silver Sands St. Augustine

Our family loved staying here at Kemp Cottage. It is brand new inside with clean, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing furniture. The kitchen, bath and laundry are really good sized and well-stocked with everything you'd need during your stay. We saw two bugs inside the whole week, a bit of a miracle, considering the outdoor area is a paradise of natural florida plants and wild life. We met lizards and turtles on our short walk to the beach through their maintained nature tunnel, and the soft sand was warm and inviting. We used some of the many umbrellas and beach toys provided, and the actual beach is one of the cleanest and most private we've visited. We rarely saw anyone else out in the water. I miss it already! And the staff. Delightful. The kind of folks you'd want as neighbors back home.

Nice place to stay. Recently we have had problems with trying to figure out if they are still in business? Hoping someone knows what is going on there? Enjoyed going there several times.

I highly recommend Silver Sands for any type of travel to the area. Even with severe storms and power outages for two days of my stay it was spectacular! The office assistant Betty was very personable and friendly. I really enjoyed our laughs while we were without power. Lanterns were supplied and additional outdoor lighting without even asking. The acces to the beach and the beach alone were breathtaking even during the storm. I will definitely be back!

I loved my stay here so much! It's very natural with lots of lizards, bunnies and turtles on the property. It's a little oasis. The beach is right there and very beautiful. They also provide beach chairs and boogie boards. The kitchen is well stocked but you do need to bring your own coffee. I wish more of the Florida coast was preserved like this place!

Been here many times. We love the natural surroundings. The tree-canopied nature trail that takes you to a beautiful beach has benches and reflection areas along the way, not to mention wild rabbits, Gopher tortoise, Black racers and even Indigo snakes. They have a shed full of loaner chairs, beach toys, umbrellas, beach carts, chairs etc. Nice clean well appointed units for families or for a couple's getaway.

Great location, clean and affordable. About 20 mins from St Augustine, which is great if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle. It's literally 5 mins from the Matanzas Inlet, which provides a great beach and great fishing. Owners and staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative thing I can say is that if you are a bigger guy, the bathroom facilities work with some minor adjustments. (Use your imagination) Will definitely stay again!

Super nice. Perfect location for the beach access. We would probably try one of the little larger rooms next trip. The ridley suite was very comfortable just a little small. Myself and my wife had a great time here and visiting st augustine beach and st augustine itself which are just a short drive from the silver a sands. Tks

Wonderful time! They supply everything you need for the beach! Very clean - huge shower. Nice to have a fridge and full kitchen for convenience of staying in. The manager was so nice and helpful! They even keep cooled bottled waters on hand for your stay. The beach is lovely too.
